In the context of the exhibition Les Feux d’Ulysse, the CRP/ and Le Fresnoy propose a screening and meeting exploring Evangelia Kranioti’s film Exotica, Erotica, Etc. 2015 (73 min) at Le Fresnoy – studio national des arts contemporains in Tourcoing. Attended by the artist and by Muriel Enjalran, curator of the exhibition and director of the CRP/.

Exotica, Erotica, Etc. is a documentary with real characters, conceived as a dialogue between man and woman, between nature and the world. The film navigates through old maritime trade routes, while giving an account of increasing globalisation and interconnectivity in the 21st century. Despite everything, it is a declaration of love to these men and women, whose marginal lives and solitude are essential to the operation and the very existence of society.
