The Villa Yourcenar is a place of residence for writers and provides the right conditions for writing. Secluded and peaceful, on the Mont Noir in the heart of Flanders, this literary center hosts an exhibition in which photography becomes the collection of introspections. Photography and literature have always been allies. Bernard Plossu confirms this with the series Paris-London-Paris co-signed with Michel Butor. Between diary and poetry, the images take us on a journey by train and by words. The journey is more enigmatic for Yves Guillot, who, influenced by psychoanalysis, collects impressions of daily life and clues in La Logeuse, a series that took him ten years to create.
