Corps lutte (Body struggle), 40 years of photography at CRP/

Since its origin, photography has accompanied men and women in struggle. But what struggle expresses the body? What does the photographer seize when he poses the moment filled with the impulse of the body? Corps Lutte is a photographic journey that shows the moment when, beyond the individual will, the joyful incarnation of life is expressed. The exhibition deliberately confronts the expression of joy and struggle in photographic images that reveal the all too human. It illustrates how articulated bodies or articulating in a movement, make tangible a tension at work, an energy in a demonstration of strength or rupture.
